CDR Maguire Engineering is managing the $75 million rehabilitation of the three sister bridges over the Allegheny River as part of our ongoing project management contract with Allegheny County, PA. These three, 1,000-foot Eyebar chain suspension bridges were rehabilitated with new concrete bridge decks, structural repairs, and complete repainting. Because the structures are of national, historical significance, CDR Maguire facilitated full coordination of the project team with environmental and cultural resource groups at the onset of the project.
Located on Pittsburgh’s North Shore, this project includes improvements to city facilities on the approach roadways and coordination with PNC Park and Heinz Field for event traffic.
