South Highland Avenue Bridge Replacement, Pittsburgh, PA
Comments
CDR Maguire served as the Project Manager for the replacement of the 117-year-old South Highland Avenue Bridge, which connects the bustling Pittsburgh neighborhoods of East Liberty and Shadyside. The bridge carries traffic and pedestrians over Ellsworth Avenue, the Martin Luther King, Jr. East Busway, and railroad tracks owned by the Norfolk Southern Railroad. The new, $2.9 million superstructure replaced a severely deteriorated two-span, steel, thru-girder bridge.
