
DAVID J. MCTISH
Executive Vice President of CDR Maguire Engineering
David J. McTish, P.G. is Executive Vice President of CDR Maguire Engineering, serving in a senior advisor role to President Dan Cessna and across our Construction Services Division. McTish has 41 years of progressive experience in the planning, design, and construction management of transportation, municipal, and private site development projects across Pennsylvania. Projects include both new and reconstruction/rehabilitation of limited access and controlled access roadways and structures, intersection widening and signalization, bridge inspection, rail/trail projects, and pedestrian bridges. Additional projects include roadside development, such as retaining walls and sound barriers, and mitigation of adverse environmental impacts, including stream channel restoration, wetland protection, and historical canal improvements. McTish also has experience with municipal water, sewer, and private land development design and construction.
McTish was the President of McTish, Kunkel and Associates (MKA), prior to its acquisition by CDR Maguire Engineering in 2022, including all service lines, site/civil, oil/gas, structural, highway, and municipal engineering, environmental science, survey, planning and construction inspection. All are actively and safely performing engineering and environmental services, with the latest technology on a wide range of transportation, municipal, and private contracts.
McTish has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from West Virginia University. He is a registered Professional Geologist in Pennsylvania.
McTish is a past President of the American Society of Highway Engineers-East Penn Section. He served as Vice Chairman of the American Council of Engineering Companies CM/CI committee and various subcommittees, is a member of the Pennsylvania Council of Professional Geologists, and PA Building Officials Council.
